Welcome Splash

Here you'll learn all about me: my interests and hobbies, the people in my family, my pets, and more. I've even included a list of my favorite links to other sites.  So read, enjoy, and maybe have a few chuckles.  I only wish to brighten your day.

I was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 14th, 1951.  At birth, I was given up for adoption but the Lord was watching over me and I was adopted by a wonderful loving couple, the Hoffman's when I was 5 1/2 years old,  I went to Charles L. Loos Elementary school, Fairview High School for 1 year and then went to Patterson Co-op and graduated, July 30, 1969.  I also went to Grace College in Indiana when I met my first husband.  I thought he was a doctor when I first saw him with the uniform smock but later found out that he was a barber.  But I didn't care, we dated some and then married.  We were not as rich by a long shot as a doctor's family would have been but we did alright.

My first marriage was to Dennis Morris and we were married in Indiana where we lived for 7 years. We have 2 child, James and Charity.  We divorced but did remain in some communication even though the children were over 18.  He passed away on October 17, 2002.

I was married a second time but for a brief 2 years.

On March 10, 1999 I married Robert Bruce Everett whom I dated in high school.  We lived in a double wide on 2 acres in Silver Springs, Florida in the Ocala National Forest.  We loved it out there and with the property the way it is with no grass, it is great for starting the rides on 3 and 4 wheelers through the Forest.

As of June, 2006, we sold our home to my daughter and her husband and moved to Texas.   I would perfer to move back to Florida but really think that is impossible as Bruce loves it here in Texas.  We are renting a really neat home that was built in 1940.  Very country.  We are on 3 1/3 acres and have a big red barn.  I love the country, the sound of the train whistle, the cattle mooing and the donkey's heehaw.  We are hoping to eventually buy this old house. We have 5 goats, 4 dogs, and 2 cats.  It all makes me feel at home.

What's New?

Here I might add an entry whenever I make an update to my web site. Where appropriate, I'll include a link to the change. For example:

11/1/01 - Added new photos to Vacation Album page.
